Stockholders of the George Washington Hotel Corporation will inspect the new annex Thursday from 7 to 10 p m at the George Washington Hotel. E R Branch and the board invite about 350 owners of 333 shares to attend with refreshments in the gold room. The firm shows a recent dividend, good finances, and improved service under Branch since December. The hotel left the American Hotels Corporation and is no longer part of that chain.

Mrs. Christian Frances Branner of Kernstown died at home after a year long illness at age 69. She was born February 28 1860 in Greenmount Rockingham County Virginia. Survived by husband nine children and 28 grandchildren with four sisters. Funeral Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church Stephens City with interment at Green Hill Cemetery.
