A severe electrical storm Monday night produced a powerful lightning strike at Phil H. Gold’s Apple Pie Ridge farm. The bolt carved a 100 foot furrow behind the house, knocked rosettes from lamp sockets, and injured H. R. Heishman’s son Clarence who was dazed for hours. The little brother was unharmed.
