Nathan E. Leopold Jr. and Richard Loeb confessed to kidnapping and murdering 14 year old Robert Franks in Chicago. Prosecutor Crowe said they planned the crime for ransom as early as last November and even considered kidnapping Julius Rosenwald’s son.

Mrs Emmett L Henry was brought to her home at 320 South Main Street after severe injuries from an automobile crash near New Market Maryland on Thursday. The couple were returning from Baltimore when slick roads caused the car to veer into a culvert. She suffered facial cuts a fractured nose and shock and was treated at Frederick Hospital before being released.
