Mrs. C. E. Aulick returns from Cambridge where her daughter Miss Mary Aulick, senior, graduates with seven others earning senior honorary Twinness. Aulick completed the three year course in two and led student government. She will train in June at the Sargent camp in Petersboro New Hampshire.
Sheriff Pannett responds to a frantic call about a possible murder near Gore. A muddy mountain trek leads to Lu cinda Elliott known as Cindy, wife of Dewey Elliott, who claims her brother Arthur Elliott assaulted her with a witheing. Arthur is ordered to appear in Winchester on June 7.
D W Ritenour announces fourteen Winchester delegates to the Democratic state convention in Norfolk on June 11. Named are Glass Sibert Forney Page Henry Wunder Richards Byrd Harrison Carter Baker Lewis Huntsberry and Ritenour. With no other candidates filing, these automatically become the accredited delegates under the state primary law.
A mass convention of the Democratic voters of Frederick county will be held at the Winchester court house on Saturday May 31 at 2 p m to select delegates to the Democratic State Convention at Norfolk on June 11. All Democrats are urged to attend. C R McCann Chairman. 5-26-1p-5t

Mr and Mrs Mason and their children George and Anna were injured when their car swerved on a curve along the Valley Pike near Stephens City. The party, from Martinsburg, were en route to Endless Caverns for Decoration Day when the vehicle overturned. They received aid at the Gardner home before deciding to return home for treatment.

Governor BE Trinkle refused a pardon for George Woodward of this city who was convicted of a state prohibition law violation and sentenced to thirty days. He noted no trial official or the prohibition director supported a pardon and stated he cannot override the court.
Seniors of Fort Loudoun hold noon exercises at the library with a program directed by Miss Virginette Cleventer and Miss Marguerite Rink. The event includes a class history, orations by Miss Ivy Vente, Miss La Rhue Murphy, and a valedictory by Miss Alice LeFever, followed by a plant procession at Fort Loudoun.
Frederick county Democrats will hold a mass meeting at the courthouse at 2 o clock tomorrow afternoon to elect delegates to the state convention in Norfolk. County Chairman C R McCann urges all county Democrats to attend and participate in the proceedings.
