Teen-Ager In Hands Of Police Admits Shooting Four Children
A 16 year old hitchhiker Oliver Terpenning Jr was turned over to Toledo authorities after he admitted shooting four Imlay City farm children near the Michigan Ohio line. He said it occurred about 3 PM Monday and he did not know why. The youths bodies were found near a swampy patch as farmers searched the area angered by the killings. A .22 rifle was reported found as investigators traced Terpenning from Imlay City to Port Huron before his capture.

Three year old David Forney son of William Forney of 414 North Loudoun Street was hit at 6 25 yesterday evening by a car driven by Lewis Milton Fletcher of Winchester and owned by George Selwyn Gruber of Siler Road. The child ran into the street chasing a ball and received a cut above the right eye. He was taken to Winchester Memorial Hospital for treatment and released this morning. A police court hearing was set for this afternoon.
