Louis C. Bromley died at Winchester Memorial Hospital after falling from a ladder while painting a house on East Pall Mall street. He sustained a skull fracture and other injuries, and funeral services are planned at his residence with burial in Mount Hebron Cemetery. He was 69, survived by son Paul Bromley, a sister Sally Elliott, and a brother William G. Bromley.

Robert F. Emmert 48 prominent local business man died yesterday afternoon at Memorial Hospital Winchester from cardio nephritis. He was a son of the late Elias Emmert of Hagerstown Maryland and a member of the FE O OF. He is survived by his widow a son a daughter three brothers and one sister in Hagerstown. The funeral will be held here Wednesday afternoon with interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
