In a county magistrate court the dog of Rev. Presley C. Law rence, a retired United Brethren minister, was declared a sheep killing animal and sentenced to death by Justice Tavenner. The minister argued the dog protected his property. no sheep were reported killed, but one sheep reportedly injured. Game Warden Pingley was ordered to kill the dog when near the minister's home.
