Equipment including seats, projection machine, and electric piano were moved to Woodstock for use in a new theatre there. Manager J. B. Sanderson said he preferred Winchester but will relocate to Norfolk, Virginia for a larger field.

Fall faces bribe charge of 100000 and Doheny payments alleged to secure actions. News reached the Democratic National Convention.
Radio fans heard the Washington Post Band at The Star office with the station. In Madison Square Garden Senator Harrison read Associated Press dispatches on the Doheny Fall and Sinclair indictment by a federal grand jury. A cheer rose as the band played The Washington Post March. Edward B. McLean testified in the senatorial investigation.
Miss Gertrude Carper received a delightful surprise Friday evening at her Addition home. A number of her young friends gathered about at eight o clock and were greeted graciously by Miss Carper. The party enjoyed new games and refreshments in elegant style before breaking up at a late hour.

The couple will reside in Hagerstown where Cover manages western land interests.
