Wreck on Valley Pike Involves Clarke Car
A Buick driven by Jerry Clarke of this city crashed into a telephone pole two miles south of Winchester on the Valley pike near 8:30 in the evening. Miss Gladys Dispannett suffered a wrist cut. Mary Dispannett and Mr Clarke were bruised. Eyewitnesses said the Buick was speeding after being overtaken by a Ford. the crash wrecked the car, tore three wheels, and tore off the top and windshield. Bystanders transported the injured to physicians where only minor injuries were found aside from Miss Dispannett.
