Continental Oil projects and local construction plans
The Continental Oil Company site near Cameron and Gerrard streets is valued at about 5586. A brick filling station is rising at Kernstown two miles south, built by Earl L. Loy and W. W. Lupton. The brick structure measures 62 by 44 feet and will cost around 10000 upon completion. Additional sidewalk work, tourist signs, and home painting projects are underway with many homes being freshly painted this spring.
