Western sheep and cattle fed on screenings profitable
Fort William Ontario June 12 The feeding of western sheep and cattle on screenings from bis elevators at head of the lakes has been successful this winter. Initiated by R C Harvey an Alberta rancher the plan fed 6000 sheep in 1921 and over 10000 last winter. Railways offered through rates with stopovers to eastern points. Fattening on screenings and hay produced profitable gains and a savings of thousands of dollars anticipated for future winters.

Noiseless Riveters Promised for Quiet Precision Work
The Scientific American reports noiseless riveters on a rotary vibratory system offered in bench or pedestal types. They claim to perform intricate riveting in silence, limited only by the operator’s ability to feed the work. The piece notes the broader idea that a skilled person can profit from such advances.
