Winchester High School Class of 1917 Commencement
The Winchester High School class of 1917 held its commencement at City Hall Auditorium. Dr. Alfred Hall-Quest of the University of Virginia gave the annual address, and diplomas were presented by retiring Schools Superintendent M. M. Lynch. Medals and distinctions were awarded to pupils as the audience enjoyed the orange and black decorations and a well attended ceremony amid school improvements and rising enrollment.
