Chester Washington of 1007 South Loudoun street was shot in the ankle about 10 30 last night when he says a revolver fell from under his mattress, discharged on impact, a 38 caliber bullet entering near the ankle bone. Driver of Track Goes To Sleep Crashes Near Kernstown
Early this morning a Staunton produce driver, en route to Washington with poultry, fell asleep at the wheel and crashed the truck into a telephone pole near Kernstown.
