Six huge blacksnakes killed at Calvert fruit farm near Harpers Ferry
A reported snake slaughter near Harpers Ferry West Virginia on L E Calvert’s fruit farm yielded six dead blacksnakes totaling 81 feet in length. The longest was seven feet with others of six five and four feet. The snakes were found in a sawdust pile by a river sawmill.
