A Frederick County Circuit Court jury is summoned for Thursday June 12 to hear Green E Jenkins versus Charles Whittington over a disputed horse sale. Jenkins alleges the horse was not as represented and the suit stems from a magistrate removal with a claimed valid defense. Jurors summoned include J F Nethers Elijah Puffinberger G W Unger E Benton Stanley Piper Dora C Miller and E E Neville.

One of the largest dances of early summer occurred last Friday night at the Jordan Springs hotel with a local orchestra.
