Barnes Named PEC President At Annual Meeting
At the Piedmont Environmental Council annual meeting on June 2 Chaplin B Barnes became PEC president replacing ongoing duties. A former director for international activities at the National Audubon Society he will relocate from Wilton Connecticut to Warrenton Virginia and bring broad environmental leadership.

Becky L. Campbell of Winchester earns NCO status in the U S Air Force after completing leadership and management training and serving as a metals processing specialist at Langley AFB. She is a 1974 James Wood High School graduate. Staff Sgt Clarence E Williams of Front Royal participates in Brave Shield 19 at Fort Hood Texas with about 16 000 troops and hundreds of vehicles and aircraft. He serves as a section chief with the 1st Cavalry Division, a 1963 Criser High School graduate, and is married to Linda Williams. Airman Edward A Keefer of Winchester has completed basic training at Lackland AFB and is assigned to Lowry AFB Colorado, earning credits toward an associate degree and preparing for supply field training. He is a 1973 James Wood High School graduate Maurice W Keeler resides in Winchester and is identified as the father of Airman Keefer
