Penn Central Announces Major New York Real Estate Sale
Penn Central says it will sell land and buildings in a 29 acre 10 block area in midtown Manhattan valued around 1.24 billion dollars. The package includes the Commodore Roosevelt Biltmore and Barclay hotels plus 17 parcels and air rights over Grand Central Terminal. The sale requires federal judge approval under bankruptcy law.
