Funeral services for Tedford B. Patton age 79 prominent Winchester business man and financier were held at his residence and later in Lexington Virginia. Officiants included the Rev Ronald S Wilson and the Rev R B Nelson with active pallbearers led by Harry Copenhaver Raymond L Rossman and other named locals. J. Bryan Stotler president of the Lions Club has a letter of congratulations from B A Edgar Assistant Secretary of Lions International for the 51 to 75 member clubs category in the 1939 40 Attendance contest with 107 85 attendance. The club may choose a large emblem plaque or a 25 cash certificate. The Havana Cuba convention will July 23 24 25.
