Three Persons Hurt in Weekend Traffic Crashes
Three people were hurt in area crashes over the weekend with property damage over 2000 dollars. Nella Adams and her daughter Alice were injured in a two car crash on U S Route 11 near Stephenson Saturday evening. A Winchester man was injured in a second two vehicle crash on U S Route 7 west of Berryville yesterday afternoon. Frederick County man jailed for drunken driving after initial hit and run charge. Adams and daughter treated and released from Memorial Hospital. The Adams car carried five uninjured children. Police identified the second vehicle as a 1949 Ford owned by Thomas K McCann.
