Seven Drowned When Auto Plunges Into Flooded Creek
In Pomeroy Ohio on February 18 seven Jackson residents died when their auto rolled into a flooded creek after missing a bridge. Victims include Wilbur Keller 27, his wife Mrs. Roy Keller 42, his mother Mrs. Clara Diles 54, Goldie Lambert 33, Henry Lambert 7, Mrs. George Sturgill 18, and Richard Trego. The submerged car was found upright with about a foot and a half visible by resident Mrs. Emmett Lightfoot.
