Flee Hotel Fire In Intense Cold
In Burlington Vermont the Hotel Milner burned overnight in near zero cold as about 120 guests in night attire fled the flames. Firefighters from six communities controlled the seven hour blaze by 9 am with damage pegged at 500000 dollars. One guest Harry Skaar of Revere Massachusetts suffered severe burns while another resident Daniel Selder was rescued from a fourth floor window. Richmond Va Feb 14 A bill to raise income taxes to fund either a teacher retirement or free textbooks was introduced in the Virginia House Delegates.
