Young Charlestown man dies after quarry accident
Roger Ballinger age about 22 of Charlestown died at a Martinsburg hospital after a rock fall at the Standard Lime and Stone Company quarry. He was drilling when the rock he stood on gave way, crushing his right lung and causing fatal internal injuries. An inquest was held.
