Recount Hearing Set for Frederick County Liquor Vote
A three judge court will convene for a preliminary hearing on February 5 at 11 a.m. to establish procedures and dates for the liquor by the drink recount in Frederick County. The Nov 5 referendum showed 3,709 yes and 3,724 no with a 15 vote margin triggering the petition under the state law. The proceedings will be held in Winchester with Circuit Judge Woltz and designated appellate judges presiding.
