1952 Has Usual Quota Of Freak Accidents
The National Safety Council reports 1952 repeats familiar freak accidents. Instances include a Baltimore man whose rabbit triggered a rifle, a pig defending itself shooting a butcher in Germany, a 1300-pound cow overpassing onto a car in Denver, and a bee causing a Nevada crash. A New York dog saved a child from a five-story fall, while Kenneth Wright Jr. survived a 200-foot cliff descent in California. Joe Strauss’s car endured a retaliatory crash in Indianapolis, and pedestrian resilience grows observed in Portland Oregon.
