Italy Divorced Again? Referendum Debate Shifts Law Revisions
Rome AP reports Italy’s one year old divorce law faces possible second anniversary as left and right party rivals try to draft a substitute while anti-divorce forces push a national referendum. In Dartmouth Nova Scotia AP profile Beverley Himes, 29, explains milk delivery fits her outdoorsy, non desk life with two children after prior dry cleaning work.

Political contrasts mark Wichita fundraisers
In Wichita Sedgwick County Republicans paid 100 per plate for a beer dinner and speech by Kansas Sen. Robert Dote, GOP national chairman, while about 800 Democrats paid 1 25 for ham and beans and soup but the scheduled speaker did not attend. State Attorney General Vern Miller was tied up in a criminal investigation and could not attend, and Sheriff Johnny Carr also missed the meal for the same reason, though Gov. Robert Docking’s mother Virginia Docking did attend and mingle with guests.
