Wright fined for hit and run auto crash injuring boy

Kitchen Trial Postponed as Spectators Gather Outside
The trial of Charles Kitchen and Roy Ewell Chapman was set for two this afternoon but postponed to 11 a m next Saturday after Kitchen requested summons for his sister and her husband as witnesses. Chapman alleges Kitchen beat him with handcuffs during a traffic stop and then arrested him for liquor possession. Kitchen, a private citizen, contends Chapman was intoxicated and driving unlawfully, while Chapman disputes Kitchen authority to stop or arrest.

G Lowell R Bayles a noted air speed flyer from Orae Mass was killed today when his plane struck the ground and burst into flames during a World Record speed attempt at Wayne County Airport.
