Levi QO Fries Passes Away
Levi O Fries, retired farmer and public school teacher of Frederick county, died at 10 this morning at his son Leslie E Fries residence 510 North Loudoun Street. Born July 27 1855 he was 81 years and 28 days old. He taught 28 years before retirement and later farmed until about 15 years ago. He carried pies to Civil War soldiers as a boy. He attended pay school at old Stone Church and Shenandoah Valley Academy before free schools. Continued on Page Hight.
