Poll favors limited Ranch Road 12 expansion from San Marcos to Wimberley
An informal View survey shows most respondents back limited improvements on Ranch Road 12 between San Marcos and Wimberley, with fewer supporting the highway department’s major plan. The proposal would add four 12 foot lanes and two 8 foot shoulders from San Marcos to County Road 315 near the Blanco River bridge. Seventy five readers returned questionnaires with options including the highway plan and an alternate write-in choice, plus a yes or no on realigning intersections to improve thru traffic.
