Joyce's rise from Ventura Highway to Houston to Wimberley fame
Joyce recalls early gigs at Focus Classics then The Factory in Los Angeles where she met Sammy Davis Jr. and joined Sammy Davis Jr Enterprises. She later appeared on the Joey Bishop Show and Playboy After Dark, recorded for major labels, and performed with the Houston Pops under Ned Batista. Returning to Houston and then Wimberley, she launched Wimberley Stained Glass while continuing to sing across Austin and local venues, evolving musically from folk to jazz and blues.
