Wimberley auditions for The Foreigner set for January
The Community Wimberley Players announce auditions for The Foreigner by Linda Allen on January 15 and 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Greenhouse Theatre in Woodcreek with scripts available at The Paperback Swap Shop in Wimberley North Too. The cast calls for five men ages 20 to 50 and two women, with Betty Pollard directing and a named technical crew. The play, set in a Georgia fishing camp, follows two Englishmen, one shy, as the shy one pretends to be a foreigner who does not speak English, leading to entanglements and eventual sabotage. Performances are planned for the first three weekends in March, with a Sunday matinee on March 13, and auditions welcome even for those not seeking stage time.
