A former Air Force lieutenant colonel and pilot with 8522 flying hours he helped found Balcones Banc Savings Association and led Woodcreek civic efforts including the town’s first mayoral term. Hays County Floodplain Administrator Allen Walther will address the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce breakfast on Tuesday April 13 at 7 30 a m at Mr Mike s Le Buffet. He explains using four foot elevation contours to define floodplain areas along Cypress Creek Lone Man Creek Wilson Creek and the upper Blanco River with maps from the Army Corps of Engineers.
