A dramatic 1880 West Texas chase follows four bearded horsemen and a woman fleeing East St. Louis with stolen money. Bloodhounds fail to track across the river as they ride into Texas and Oklahoma Territory, aided by a captured hack, until Tom Miller an East St. Louis hunter corners them near Flat Creek, Texas. A final ambush ends the pursuit with one outlaw killed, others captured or wounded, and legends of bloodstains still whispered near the creek.
