Wimberley Hosts Big Tourist Showcases In April
Wimberley drew statewide attention in April with a large non political barbecue for the Texas delegation at Holiday Hills Resort and the Canyon Dam dedication 12 miles away. The Texas Hill Country was showcased to visitors from eighteen counties and to national media teams including the American Automobile Association tour group.

First Market Day Opens on Wimberley Square
Wimberley starts its 1966 Market Day season on June 4 at 8:00 a.m. with markets held on the first Saturday of each month through September 3. The open air free event draws locals to the Square for a wide range of goods from pedigreed poodles to pintos with no set prices.
