The Wimberley Mill announces its first issue will be a night edition due to space limits on ads. Advertisers urged to mention the paper to secure continued ads as photos by Spencer Guimarin Ray Czichos Mrs. Paul Miller Jr. and Fred Harding are credited. Snow cooled then spring signs appear with peach plum redbud trees blooming and pastures greening.

Easter Sunrise Service Returns to Wimberley Hilltop
The seventeenth annual Easter Sunrise service is set for Easter Sunday 6:30 to 7:00 in Sunrise Roadside Park atop Big Hill overlooking Wimberley. Rev J B Young Pastor will give the message with helpers Spencer Guimarin and Rev Gail P Eldridge. If weather fails, the Baptist Church will host the service.

Murder of Silence shown at Wimberley School gym
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department presents The Murder of Silence at 8 pm on April 7 in the Wimberley School gym. The free showing features three wide screens, a high quality sound track, color picture, trained crew, and refreshments after. Chamber of Commerce sponsors invite the public, with a spectator minimum of two hundred set by the Department.
