History making bass weighed for Austin Bass Club anglers

Wimberley Volunteer Fire Department 1966 Annual Report
The 1966 year saw 19 active members plus one inactive and one honorary making 21 total. Fourteen fires were fought and two trucks logged 127 miles while 850 dollars came from 180 donors. Hays County contributed 336 dollars and annual operating costs reached 2000 dollars with ongoing medical support and oxygen equipment noted.

HD Club elects officers for 1967
The Wimberley Home Demonstration Club met January 19 at Mrs. John Cheatham’s home. County agent Inez Patton installed 1967 officers: President E M Williams, 1st vice Archie Weatherford, 2nd vice Robert Haney, secretary Banks Hatman, treasurer D Leveritt, council delegate C A Rowell, corresponding secretary Herbert Lennie. A discussion on Identifying Your Family Values followed. The next meeting is February 17 at the Corral of the Longhorns with hostesses W L Arendall, Roy Avey, and F F Badger.
