Girl Scout Spring Campout Attended by Troop 3530
Girl Scout Troop 3530 held a Spring Campout on Sunday night March 26 at Rocky River Ranch. Mary Anderson and Susan Moon led ten Juniors with Brownie helpers Mrs. Wanda Montague and Mrs. Imogene Robinson assisting six Brownies in a "Brownie Holiday." Horseback riding led by Sandra Bateman topped the event as Juniors served Sloppy Joes and taught cooking on tin can stoves to Brownies. Eleven boys from Wimberley School, aided by Mrs. Lloyd Tidwell and Deputy Sheriff Ike Herrington, formed a Cub Scout troop meeting Saturdays at VFW Hall from 9:30 to 11:00, in blue uniforms with gold scarves and blue caps.
