Longtime Temple area resident dies after family service
Obituary notices detail the life of Louis Taylor and Doris Huebinger. Taylor served in the U.S. Army and Air Force Exchange Service, ran a base post exchange retail operation, and retired in 1973. He later ran Louis Taylor Real Estate in Temple before moving to Virginia and returning in 1978. He was active in the Floresville Lions Club and Eagles in North Dakota. Huebinger, a La Vernia resident, was a homemaker and garden club member. she died March 8, 2001, and is survived by family members and stepchildren. Memorials suggested to Alzheimer's Association or Scott and White Hospice.
