Lavernia ISD board approves staff hires and expansion plans
The La Vernia ISD board met May 15 and May 22 and June 8 approving minutes and votes from May 6, electing Zaiontz president, Richter vice president, Kneupper secretary, and staff changes. They reviewed bids for computer equipment, rejected all bids for school pictures, and authorized expansion plans for the middle and high schools with new classrooms and dressing facilities. A May 22 special session added two teaching hires, and June 8 finalized the Koch plans for middle school work.
