Coast Line repairs after wreck disrupt through traffic
Officials announced this morning that a week would elapse before traffic on the W and W division would resume. Trains 42 and 41 will be rerouted via Fayetteville, while most lines out of Wilmington reopen. A pile driver wreck near Magnolia halted progress. Brakeman Moore died in the crash and several crew members were injured. Weary repairs focus on trestles and long stretches needing re laid track with two wrecking trains and labor on site.
