A survey of Evanston and north shore real estate offices shows nine month sales January to October 1935 totaling about 3 628 332 with 90 percent for improved properties. Wilmetta $958 490 Kenilworth $460 842 Winnetka $1 479 900 Glencoe $729 106 Evanston $2 514 210 and north shore area $7 298 314.

Sunday Evening Club skips Dec 15 lecture
The New Trier Sunday Evening club will not offer a lecture on December 15 to cooperate with New Trier Township High School's Christmas concert at 4 o'clock. On December 22 Dr. Arthur H. Compton will speak on Science and the New Civilization. A music program is planned and new subscribers may obtain two reserved seats for $5 for the remaining seven lectures.

Foreclosure suits filed to recover taxes in Wilmette area
The State's Attorney filed foreclosure actions in Cook County Circuit Court on 201 Wilmette properties for delinquent general taxes. Delinquencies total about 90 000, with forfeited year taxes around 30 000. Most parcels are unimproved west of Ridge road as officials pursue receivers to collect taxes and reduce court costs.
