Funeral services for James Heffernan were held from his brother John Heffernan’s residence and St. Joseph’s Catholic church. Heffernan, born August 15 1872 in Peterboro Canada, died in Colorado Springs after a climate search. Interment was at Williston Cemetery with many prominent residents in attendance.
