Williams county will see two towns incorporate as cities within weeks. Wildrose plans a Oct 4 special election to establish city government amid wheat shipping heritage. Grenora, a year-old town on the Stanley branch, also moves to incorporation to educate local children via country district schools and avoid delays.

Negro Charged With Burglary in Minot Case
Walter Wiltz, a Negro from the area, was arrested in Minot after a Williston theft report led police to identify him. He was arraigned in H. V. Smith's court on first degree burglary, with a watch found on him. Wiltz asserts an alibi and claims the watch came from another man. He is held on $300 bond.

Riot Call Reports Farmers Fight Near Fedge Farm
A town riot call drew county officers and a Red Cross physician to the Rasmus Fedge place twenty five miles northwest of town Tuesday afternoon. Fedge, Albert Oyele and Ben Oyele fought after liquor disputes, with injuries requiring stitches and treatment. All three were jailed as authorities warned against such clashes during wartime. Mrs. John Hill, operated on ten days ago, returned home to recover.
