Williston Amends License Rules for Pool Bowling Rooms
Ordinance 49 amends Section Two of Ordinance 31 governing licenses for pool and billiard rooms and bowling alleys in Williston North Dakota. Applications require a ten dollar annual fee per billiard or pool room and one dollar per month for each bowling alley, with licenses nontransferable and valid until January 1 following issuance. The measure takes effect after passage, approval, and publication.

Williston City Council Meets in Regular Session 1906
Williston North Dakota regular council session met October 1 1906 in the council room. Mayor Wegley presided with Aldermen Atterberry Hayes Van Dyke and Baldwin present. Brownell and Lane absent. Minutes of Sept 24 approved. Bills totaling payrolls for water works and electric lights approved. 384 feet of 8 inch pipe ordered. Ordinance 49 read for first time amending ordinance 81. Water wagon complaint led to police notice to disinfect tanks and label tanks as clean slough water not for domestic use. No further business. Meeting adjourned October 8.
