Minot Buyer Buys Large Ranch Horse Herd
M S Williams of Minot sealed a full purchase with J W Jackson and Chas Baldwin for their herd of about three hundred horses. The horses were on a Nelson area ranch. Williams and Jackson planned to begin rounding up the scattered range stock after a Monday departure to the ranch. The purchase included several horses from Marcus Daly Bitter Root Ranch in Montana known for Coal Black German Coach stock.
