Clue to Murderer Found Near White Earth
Ward county officials report a clue in the August murder near White Earth. A woman's clothing was found on a creek bank and a horse and buggy left at Alex Will's farm by a young man who did not return. A blood stained laprobe was found in the buggy. E D Allen and detective P Jones identified the horse as hired from Allen by Andrew Wolsom of Boissevain. The items belong to a missing Turtle Mountain halfbreed woman. Jones will pursue the case.

Leg Break at Coal Mine Injures Local Bakery Proprietor
Burt Martin, co proprietor of the city Bakery, was injured Sunday at the Ole Bryn coal mine when a lump of coal rolled off a chute and struck his left leg above the ankle. He is staying three miles west of the city and is mending rapidly.
