Not yet but June a wedding and a school year end
A fragmented meditation on June tying together school life weddings and myths. It contrasts rites of passage from graduation to marriage with a humorous nod to Board of Education grammar and the myth of Juno and Jupiter. The narrator notes June’s association with love and domestic drama and ends with the Argus peacock tale.
