Charles Winfield alias Kid Trailer, extradited from Saskatchewan, appeared in justice court at Towner North Dakota on horse theft charges and was bound over for district court. A Monday sale under the Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana Breeders Association drew strong interest in full blooded stock and numerous grade horses and mares. The event listed several Percheron studs and mares with prices from 300 to 840 dollars, plus Short Horn cattle from Walhalla quarantined for tuberculosis. A Holstein calf sale and a high grade Holstein contribution by Mr. Palmer rounded out the auction.

New York March 16 The United States Express Company will dissolve after directors voted Friday to liquidate. About 15 000 employees will lose jobs, including 2 000 in New York and New Jersey. The company’s payroll runs around 6 million dollars annually with 765 000 paid to Jersey City workers. The dissolution will affect 32 938 miles of railroad and 6 000 stations. President Duncan T.
