Farmers sue for damages over fires and stock losses
Kidder county farmers near Tappen have filed a suit for compensatory damages against the N P Railroad Co alleging that careless engine operation burned grass hay and fences on their lands on April 21 1907 and October 16 1906 and killed colts horses and cattle. Plaintiffs Spicer and Davis own the Troy farm at Tappen with other claims by G M Mahin and Stanley Mahin against the railroad co.
