First Regiment N D National Guard to Attend En Campment
Company E of the First Regiment North Dakota National Guard will leave in late July for Fargo for a two day stay, then mobilize for a trip to Spain Wisconsin for the annual encampment and maneuvers from August 1 to August 10. The company members look forward to the trip with great pleasure.

Trenton Man Killed Testing Power Lines
Harry Saunders age 23 was killed near Trenton while testing electric transmission wires. He touched a live line while his other hand rested on a barbed wire fence creating a 22 000 volt fatal circuit. Saunders had worked for the reclamation service nearly three years and was to be buried in Amsterdam New York.
