Squires Miss Mabel Arndt Returns for Homestead

Squires resident Miss Mabel Arndt returned from Minnesota to file on a homestead and plans residence this fall. A Snake Butte picnic is set for June 13 pending good weather, with June 20 as a backup. Church services were held at the schoolhouse southwest of Squires with many in attendance. The town notes several local moves and visits, including Ed Lee buying a horse, N P Holland traveling to Williston, and the Arndt and Dardis sisters visiting. The little daughter of Oscar Lee died from diphtheria and was laid to rest Friday.
